Fire Destroys Bluewater Clubhouse

A fire on Wednesday has destroyed the Bluewater Golf & Campground clubhouse, and the nine-hole course is closed until further notice.

Huron County OPP said first respondents arrived shortly after 8 p.m. yesterday. No injures were reported. An investigation is underway.

The club posted via social media, “Our golf course is closed until further notice. Please follow our social media pages for updates as more information becomes available. Thank you to our staff for their hard work and quick response. We would also like to extend our sincere thanks and appreciation to all of the first responders who attended the fire so quickly. Your prompt response and dedication are truly appreciated. Thank you for your understanding.”
