Marontate ends a 52-year drought, becoming the first Saint to win a men’s individual gold medal since Rick Haynes in 1974.

Marontate, McCullough, Giorgi and Gratrix are named to the OCAA All-Ontario Team, along with St. Clair’s Steven Hill (Lakeshore) and Owen Mailhot (Whitby) of the Durham Lords, who both finished tied for fifth place, five shots in arrears. Giorgi also earns the OCAA’s top rookie award.

Humber successfully defended the OCAA men’s team title, winning by two strokes over the St. Clair Saints. The Georgian Grizzlies came back on Wednesday to take the bronze position.

Ed. Note: Zander Battaglia of St. Thomas was the top Falcon with rounds of 75-76-80–231 (+15), 12 strokes back of Marontate.

Mya Summers (Ridgetown) of the Fanshawe Falcons went wire-to-wire to win the OCAA women’s individual gold medal. Wednesday’s round of 84 gave Summers a total of 240 for the competition, four strokes better than Justine Gorham (Amherstburg) of the St. Clair Saints. Summers becomes the first Fanshawe student-athlete to win gold since Alyssa Stoddart’s triumph in 2018. Summers also snaps a streak of six straight Humber golfers winning the women’s individual gold medal.

Bryden Dilley (Barrie) had the best round on the final day, jumping up two places to take the bronze medal, one stroke better than defending national champion Jordon Newlands (Toronto) of the Humber Hawks who fell off the podium after starting the day in second place. Gorham improved on a bronze medal performance in 2025, while Dilley became a three-time OCAA individual medalist with one silver (2023) and two bronzes (2024).

Summers, Gorham, Dilley and Newlands are named to the OCAA All-Ontario Team. As the best first-year golfer, Summers also earns the OCAA’s top rookie award.

OCAA Fair Play awards were given to Durham’s Colby Hercia (Oshawa) and Gorham of St. Clair.
