Warner Wins Lyle Sanderson Award

Today, Athletics Canada named London decathlete Damian Warner its Lyle Sanderson Award winner for combined events athlete of the year. Warner set a new decathlon record at the IAAF Combined Events Challenge in Götzis, a new Canadian indoor heptathlon record at the IAAF Championships and was ranked number two in the world in 2018.
