Post-secondary student-athletes are set to compete at the 2026 Ontario Colleges Athletic Association (OCAA) Golf Championships. The scheduled 54-hole tournament runs Monday through Wednesday at FireRock Golf Club in Komoka, Ont., and is hosted by Fanshawe College.

Seven Ontario post-secondary institutions will be represented at the competition, including Confederation College (Thunder Bay), Durham College (Oshawa), host Fanshawe (London), Georgian College (Barrie), Humber Polytechnic (Etobicoke), Niagara College (Welland) and St. Clair College (Windsor).

The tournament consists of three 18-hole rounds, weather permitting. The men’s and women’s player posting the lowest gross score through 54 holes will earn their respective individual championship.

Men’s teams consist of four or five golfers, with the top four individual scores of each round contributing to the total team score. Women’s teams consist of two or three golfers, with the top two individual scores of each round contributing to their total score. Schools with the lowest aggregate of gross scores after 54 holes win the respective team titles.

The Humber Hawks are both the reigning men’s and women’s team champions, with the latter having won a record six straight OCAA banners. Fanshawe last won the men’s team title in 2022, and the women’s in 2018.

FireRock is a challenging par-72 championship design framed by natural grasses and trees, captivating land forms and ragged handmade bunkers. FireRock last hosted the OCAA championships in 2018.

OCAA golfers will participate in a practice round on Sunday before teeing off for real on Monday. Daily results at the championships will be available online via the championship website and OCAA.com.

The top OCAA golfers and teams will move on to compete at the 2026 Canadian Collegiate Athletic Association PING Golf National Championships. The event takes place at Club de Golf Le Blainvillier in Blainville, Que., from Oct. 13-16 and will be hosted by Cegep Andre-Laurendeau.
