Dean Pomerleau of New Dundee, Ont. is the new owner of the GOJHL London Nationals.
A restauranteur and long-time hockey fan, Pomerleau is father of Nats’ high-scoring forward, Austen.
League commissioner Craig Spada said, “The process through our (league) level is making sure the buyers are quality people and will be around for a while. We feel (Dean) is a good fit for us … he has a little bit of a hockey background and I think he will be an asset in general and we hope – from a business point of view – he will do good things in London.”
Paul Duarte had owned the Nats for the past five seasons.
