Not Again! Nats GM, Head Coach Bolt

by Ken Tommel, Contributing Writer

Not again: the GOJHL’s London Nationals – just three games into the 2026-27 season – have changed GM and head coach.

Sean Ryan, an Oshawa Generals scout, left his GM post along with head coach Keli Corpse.

David Cole is the new GM. He’s a hockey agent and advisor to Nats owners Dean and Brenda Pomerleau who purchased the Jr. B franchise in 2024.

Former coach and pro Don Martin will be behind the bench as the 0-3 Nats host the LaSalle Vipers Wednesday at Western Fair Sports Centre. He’s the club’s seventh head coach over the past six years.

Assistant coaches Jason Hart and Terry Walters remain with the hockey club.

Corpse took the Nats’ GM reigns early in the 2025-26 season and was interim coach after former NHL tough guy Brandon Prust was fired half way through the campaign.
