Miyu Yamashita of Osaka, Japan, completed the wire-to-wire, record-setting victory on Sunday at the 2026 CPKC Women’s Open at Royal Mayfair Golf Club in Edmonton, Alta.

Yamashita shot a 4-under 66 to finish the tournament at 23-under to win by nine shots over Yuri Yoshida of Chiba, Japan. Yamashita set and tied a number of tournament and LPGA Tour records en route to her fourth career win on the LPGA Tour.

Aphrodite Deng set a new LPGA Tour 54-hole score record of 200, beating the previous total of 201 set by Lydia Ko at the 2013 CPKC Women’s Open. Her third-round score of 63 also tied an LPGA Tour record for the lowest round by an amateur. Deng joins Lydia Ko, who recorded a 63 at the 2013 Australian Open. By finishing T7 at 11-under, Deng has set the new record for lowest finish by a Canadian Amateur at the CPKC Women’s Open. The record was previously held by Nancy White who finished T12 in 1982. Deng earned the Marlene Stewart Streit Medal for Low Amateur for the second consecutive year. Anna Huang of Vancouver, B.C. finished T4 at 12-under to earn the Sandra Post Medal for Low Canadian in the tournament.

HYE-JIN CHOI WINS THE 2026 AUDI PRECISION AWARD

Hye-Jin Choi won the 2026 Audi Precision Award, hitting 59 of 72 greens in regulation (81.9%) during the 2026 CPKC Women’s Open. Choi will take home a $25,000 cash prize; with a matching $25,000 donation being made in her name to First Tee – Alberta to support youth female development on behalf of Audi Canada.

CPKC PRESENTS $4.4 MILLION DOLLAR CHEQUE TO STOLLERY CHILDREN’S HOSPITAL FOUNDATION AS PART OF CPKC HAS HEAR CAMPAIGN

The CPKC Women’s Open leaves lasting legacies far beyond the golf course in every community that hosts Canada’s only stop on the LPGA Tour. Earlier this afternoon on the first tee of the Royal Mayfair, CPKC presented a check for $4.4 million to the Stollery Children’s Hospital Foundation of Edmonton. Since 2014 when CPKC became the title sponsor of this event, the company has raised more than $31 million for pediatric heart health in communities across Canada though its community investment program, CPKC has Heart. THE ROYAL OTTAWA GOLF CLUB TO HOST 2027 CPKC WOMEN’S OPEN

The 2027 CPKC Women’s Open, the 53rd playing of Canada’s National Women’s Open championship, returns the event to The Royal Ottawa Golf Club for the second time and the first since 2000. That year, Meg Mallon won her first of three national Women’s Open titles by one shot over Rosie Jones. This will be the tournament’s sixth appearance in the Ottawa-Gatineau region, the last being in 2022. It will mark the 14th time that the event has been contested in the province of Quebec and the first since 2011 at Hillsdale Golf and Country Club in Mirabel, Que.
