This year, the City of London will upgrade Riverside Boat Launch park, at the southeast corner of Wonderland Road North and Riverside Drive.
The $2.5-million project will see upgrades including multiple lookouts, additional seating, a canoe rack, bike parking and space for food trucks.
It’s part of a $4-million, 23-improvement plan from the City’s Neighbourhood Parks Improvement Fund. And, it’s concurrent with the City’s Paddling and One River plans, which aim to enhance riverfront amenities and signage while addressing invasive species and improving the Thames River ecosystem.
