Last Lap For Fleetwood Country Cruize-in

The 16th edition of Steve Plunkett’s Fleetwood Country Cruize-in will the final fundraiser which has raised $1.7 million for local causes.

London philanthropist and auto enthusiast Steve Plunkett has announced he’ll turn off the engine for good after this weekend’s event.

Held at Plunkett’s estate on Elviage Drive, west of Byron near Komoka, the Fleetwood Country Cruize-in will feature 91 of Plunkett’s vehicles – all General Motors products, including numerous vintage automobiles – as well as special guests, and a Saturday night dinner show featuring Tony Orlando.

Mitch Ryder, Paul Revere’s Raiders and Gary Lewis and the Playboys will also perform at the Plunkett estate.

Slated for Friday through Sunday, this year’s event is expected to raise $150,000 for about 24 charities.
