Dance Extreme

Dance Extreme was founded by owner and artistic director Rebecca Brettingham in July 1998. Before opening her own studio, Rebecca taught for six years in London, St. Thomas, Dorchester and the GTA. The school has been successful from the beginning, and today Rebecca employs over 25 instructors as well as teaching classes herself. Currently, over 800 students have enrolled and the school has five large, fully-equipped studios.

Dance Extreme has been very fortunate in having an active parents group that conducts fundraising events throughout the year. The funds raised benefit all students at the studio and assist children in the community who would otherwise not be able to dance.

Dance Extreme is London’s most popular dance studio, with updated facilities, high-tech equipment and superb faculty all contributing to its success. The studio boasts over 11,000 square feet of space with every square foot built with the dancers and parents in mind.  The state-of-the-art sound equipment allows teachers to be better prepared for classes, and the video system is an excellent teaching tool for teachers to record and play back class in real time to students. Parents love the ability to view their children’s class from the comfort of the lobby from start to finish without disruption. Whether students are at the studio for a short amount of time or many hours, they enjoy the comfort of three large change rooms for the girls and one for the boys, a large kitchen with a fridge and microwave for their use and a study room with computers and internet access.  Parents have the flexibility of leaving their dancers (and siblings) before or after class in the Rascal Room, a supervised playroom for the convenience of parents.
