Cyclones Tie Series In OT

Friday at Steve Kerr Memorial Arena in Listowel, the Cyclones tied their best-of-seven Sutherland Cup semifinal with a 4-3 overtime win over the London Nationals.

London won Game 1 by an identical score in double overtime.

Chayse Herrfort scored his second goal of the game just 14 seconds into overtime for the win.

London’s Max Vinogradov sent the game into OT with a goal 16:09 in the third period. The game changed hands throughout the match, which saw only one minor penalty handed to each club. Listowel out shot London, 36-35, in Game 2 of what promises to be a close series.
