Mustangs Championship Season Continues

Banner season continues for badminton, curling, and women’s fencing this week, with each team heading to their respective OUA championships. Men’s and women’s basketball wrap up their regular season schedules this week, while men’s hockey begins their quest for the Queen’s Cup with a first round playoff matchup against Ryerson.

Last year the purple and white dominated at OUAs, taking home a silver medal in team competition and receiving four OUA All-Star nods. This year the team will head to Toronto as they look to top their second place finish from last year and dethrone the Toronto Varsity Blues, the two-time reigning champions.

Thursday, February 15 to Sunday, February 18 – OUA Championships

The Mustangs men’s and women’s curling teams will head on the road this week, as they travel to Sault Ste. Marie, Ont., for the OUA Curling Championships hosted by Algoma University. The purple and white will take on the best university curlers in Ontario at the Community First Curling Centre as they attempt to top the defending champion Laurier Golden Hawks and Laurentian Voyageurs.
