Bolts Blow Game In Final Minutes

Thursday at Budweiser Gardens, the London Lightning blew a 116-109 lead with less than two minutes to play and lost to the Sudbury Five, 117-116.

Sudbury’s Jarryn Skeete collected a pair of three-pointers to narrow London’s lead to a point before Marlon Johnson scored the winning layup with just three seconds remaining.

Johnson led all scorers with 36 points. Randy Phillips was the Bolts’ ace with 32 points.
