The London Knights and Owen Sound Attack have completed a trade.  The Knights will receive overage forward, Kevin Hancock in exchange for defenseman, Andrew Perrott and Sudbury’s 3rd Round Selection in the 2019 OHL Priority Selection.

“We are very happy to have Kevin joining our team,” said Knights’ General Manager, Mark Hunter.  “Kevin will have a veteran presence in our locker room and will be a team leader out on the ice.  We are excited to bring his offensive skills to our lineup.”

Hancock currently sits third in league scoring, netting 31 goals and totaling 62 points in 37 games played.  The Mississauga native was originally selected by the Owen Sound Attack in the fifth round of the 2014 OHL Priority Selection.

“We would like to thank Andrew for all of his contributions here in London,” continued Knights’ General Manager.  “Andrew is a great player and an even better young man.  We wish him the best throughout his hockey career.”

In addition, the Knights and Barrie Colts have completed a trade.  The Knights have traded overage defenseman Matthew Timms to the Barrie Colts for a conditional 15th round pick in the 2020 OHL Priority Selection.

“We would like to thank Matthew for his time here in London”, said Hunter.  “Although Matthew was only here for a short time, he had a great impact on our organization.  We wish him all the best in Barrie and throughout the rest of his hockey career.”

Timms was traded from the Peterborough Petes to the Knights in August of 2018.
