Epic Collapse Ends Knights’ Season

Tuesday at the Bud, the Guelph Storm did the improbable, ending the London Knights’ season with a 6-3 win and capping a comeback after being down 3-0 in their best-of-seven OHL Western Conference semifinal.

The Knights’ biggest post-season collapse in history marks only the 12th time an OHL club has blown a 3-0 lead in the last 32 years.

Isaac Ratcliffe and MacKenzie Entwistle scored twice, with Dmitri Samorukov and Londoner Nick Suzuki also scoring for Guelph, who now face Saginaw in the conference final.

Alex Formenton, Connor McMichael and Liam Foudy scored for London.
