Fanshawe Women’s Volleyball Victorious Over Royals

(London, Ontario) – The #9 CCAA ranked Fanshawe Women’s Volleyball team moved to 5-0 on the season with a three set sweep over the Redeemer Royals (0-4) on Wednesday evening.

The teams traded points in the opening set, with the Falcons getting kills from their veterans. Despite Redeemer’s best efforts, the Falcons took the opening set 25-20.

The home team continued where they left off, taking an early 11-4 lead in the third set. Second-year Katie Stewart (Gananoque, ON) had a kill for Fanshawe, followed by a huge block by Morelli that excited the crowd. The Falcons won the set 25-11 and the match 3-0.
