London’s Maddie Szeryk-DiBello is off to her best Epson Tour start during her eighth season on tour.

Yesterday, at the Copper Rock Championship at Copper Rock Golf Course in Hurricane, Utah, Szeryk-DiBello finished T2 with rounds of 67-68-71–206 (-10), just three shots back of winner Fiona Xu of New Zealand.

In fact, Szeryk-DiBello was three-under after five holes but bogeyed her final three holes to finish just short of what would have been her first Epson Tour victory.

With an $18,208 cheque, Szeryk-DiBello has $34,600 in earnings after six events. The 29-year-old Jupiter, Florida resident who was born in London and raised in Allen, Texas had her best money season – $58,000 – during her rookie season in 2019. Last year, the newlywed married in January to Epson Tour and LPGA Tour caddy Nick DiBello, claimed $40,000 through 20 events.

After a windy three rounds at Copper Rock, Szeryk-DiBello is preparing to take the next step with an Epson Tour victory. She now ranks 14th in Race for the Card standings. The former All-American at Texas A&M played in 15 LPGA Tour events in 2022 before earning full status in 2023, but failed to find success and returned to the developmental tour.

Next up on the Epson Tour: the FireKeepers Casino Hotel Championship June 12-14 at The Medalist Golf Club in Marshall, Michigan.
