Golf Ontario’s Super Camp Invitational wrapped up today at The Club At Bond Head, where a three-way tie for first resulted after regulation play in the U19 Boys championship.

After two playoff holes, Max Li (Summit G&CC) was crowned boys’ champ. Li, Ethan Reid (Islington GC) and David Kowaleski (The Nest at Friday Harbour) all tied at 1-under-par. Li is a member of Team Ontario. He posted rounds of 73-71-71–215 (-1).

Meanwhile, Kay Lynn Hoo of Hamilton G&CC posted the only girls’ under-par round today to come back from a T8 first round and T7 second round and capture the U19 Girls title.

In boys’ play, London’s 15-year-old Bryce Burridge had a great start this week, but finished T20. After an opening-round 4-under 68 and one stroke off the lead, Burridge fell to T6 after a second-round 4-over 76.

Things fell apart in the final round. The Grade 11 student at Saunders Secondary School posted five bogeys, three double bogeys and a triple bogey to go along with two birdies en route to a 12-over 84, giving him a three-round final score of +12, good for a T20 finish.

There are greater things to come for this young man, who won the Ontario Junior Boys Match Play Championship this summer, and was T24 at the Canadian Junior Boys Championship. He is the 2026 Jeffrey Reed Courage Award winner – read more here.

St. Thomas G&CC’s Andrew Sudicky finished T24 with rounds of 74-79-77—230 (+14). The Dutton native, and Burridge’s Saunders Sabres teammate, won all five events on the 2026 Lambton Junior Golf Tour, which crowned him their U17 and U19 Boys champion. Amongst his other wins this season, Sudicky won the Juvenile Boys title at the Maple Leaf Junior Golf Tour’s FireRock GC stop in September. The Sabres were back-to-back TVRA Boys golf champs this season.

In U19 Girls play today, Hoo finished 75-73-71—219 (+3), good for a one-stroke victory over Florence Ho of Royal Ottawa GC.

It was a disappointing T3 finish for Team Ontario member Andrea Lai of St. Thomas G&CC. She was T4 after the opening round, then atop the leaderboard after a second-round 3-under 69 put her four strokes in the clear. Today, Lai shot a 10-over 82, thanks to six bogeys, a double bogey and a triple bogey at par-5 No. 12. She finished 72-69-82—223 (+7), four strokes behind Hoo.

It has been a terrific summer for Lai, though, as she captured the Ontario Junior Girls Amateur Championship, and helped Team Ontario win the Inter-Provincial team title at the Canadian Junior Girls Championship. Amongst her other ’26 achievements, Lai repeated as TVRA Girls golf champ en route to helping her St. Joseph’s Rams (St. Thomas) win the team title. She also won back-to-back WOSSAA individual titles and is off to OFSAA Oct. 14-15 at Royal Niagara GC.

This was the seventh playing of the Ontario Super Camp Invitational, with a girls’ and boys’ field totalling 66 of Ontario’s top junior golfers competing for the Dave Mills trophy. Golf Ontario tournament director Mason Cowan called the event a “season-ending celebration of the great golf played throughout the year.

“Players have earned their way into this championship based on their current-year performance and the Junior Golf Pathway Rankings,” said Cowan. “Super Camp provides one more opportunity to compete against the other top juniors in Ontario prior to the selection of Team Ontario. The camp portion (gives the junior golfers) quality feedback and information to help them plan their development this off-season.”

With invitations earned through season-long results, the field featured many of Ontario’s most promising young golfers as they closed out the competitive season.
