Kids: “Winning Isn’t The Only Thing”

A new study from a research team atĀ George Washington University (GWU), led by associate professor Amanda J. Visek, reports that kids just want to have fun.

At least, most of the 200 Washington, D.C. soccer players, coaches and parents polled ranked winning as the 40th most important element of having fun while playing minor sports.

And according to the study, the biggest reason why kids abandon sports is they are no longer having fun.
